MARSHA MCVICKER
FOUNDER AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Errand Solutions Founder and CEO Marsha McVicker has an extensive background in supply chain management, communications, strategy and channel development, financial analysis and marketing. Prior to founding the company, she worked as a public affairs consultant and more than six years as a communications director on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. Ms. McVicker received her Supply Chain Management and Entrepreneurship MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was a Logistics Analyst for Jewel Osco, a division of Albertson’s in Chicago, Illinois.
As a result of concepts covered in her academic study and her logistics experience, Ms. McVicker came to the realization that many concierge models in the market were inefficient and expensive. As a participant in the Weinert Applied Ventures in Entrepreneurship (WAVE) program at the University of Wisconsin, Ms. McVicker was able to test the feasibility of Errand Solutions and develop the company's current model, which is both efficient and affordable. As a result, Errand Solutions received Wisconsin's first ever e-commerce technology development loan from the Wisconsin Department of Commerce.
Since then, Ms. McVicker has been featured in i-Street Magazine and The Chicago Sun-Times as one of Chicago’s “Women in Black”, 26 most prominent women in Chicago’s high-tech community; she is profiled in two books, “You Need To Be A Little Crazy”, and “Bounce” by serial entrepreneur, Barry Moltz. Ms. McVicker has also been published as a case study in the textbook “Mastering Management Skills” by R. J. Aldag and L. W. Kuzhara (Southwestern Publishing).
Additionally, Ms. McVicker has been interviewed by Robert Reich for National Public Radio’s “Future of Success” series; and she has been featured/profiled in many publications including the following: Business Week, In Business Magazine, Crain’s, Chicago Sun-Times, San Francisco Examiner, Miami Herald, and 62 other nationally recognized publications.
Ms. McVicker is also a proud member of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), SHRM, Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, and she has been a guest lecturer at a variety of conferences and in academic settings, including Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, University of Chicago, University of Wisconsin-Madison, the Women’s Business Development Center, Premier Patient Services Conference and Springboard, the platform for top female owned businesses in America.
As Errand Solutions' CEO, Ms. McVicker’s focus is on creating and sustaining corporate growth, managing investor relations, and identifying expansion opportunities.
JOSEPH GURRERI
PRESIDENT AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Mr. Gurreri is a recognized leader in business strategy, operational excellence, and business development. As President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Gurreri is responsible for Errand Solutions’ day-to-day operations, including strategic planning, sales, partner relations, marketing, and accounting.
Prior to Errand Solutions, Mr. Gurreri founded CorporatePlanningGroup.NET, a strategic planning consultancy. Mr. Gurreri was selected by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the National Council of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to lead a diverse national panel of standards developers, business leaders, and public administrators. Under his leadership, the IDSP (Identity Standards Panel) successfully delivered a frequently accessed inventory, delivered a widely publicized report, hosted two well attended plenary workshops and advised hundreds of businesses, policy makers, and public organizations on identity protection.
Mr. Gurreri was General Manager and founder of TransUnion’s Solutions Development, Business Development & Consulting functions for the US and then globally. Prior to TransUnion, he held various senior management positions at Experian with responsibilities in product development, business development, and global account management.
Mr. Gurreri’s early career was in banking with one of the largest savings & loans, Empire of America, directing the integration and sales of new products across over 300 bank branches and subsidiaries, including brokerage, insurance and real estate. He also has a background in hospitality services and senior living communities.
Mr. Gurreri earned a dual bachelor’s degree in economics and urban studies from Canisius College of Buffalo, in addition to postgraduate studies in business administration. Mr. Gurreri has served as a professor with the American Institute of Banking and a governing board chairman of Rainbows.org, an international children’s charity. He is nationally recognized as a speaker, author, and authority on business strategy, identity protection, product development, and operations efficiencies.
DOUG LAMBERT
VICE PRESIDENT OF PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT
Mr. Lambert has extensive experience in staffing and organizational development across a variety of industries. As Vice President of Planning and Development, Mr. Lambert oversees the areas of strategic planning, human resources, and technology.
Before joining Errand Solutions, Mr. Lambert was a Vice President of Global Staffing and Development for The Northern Trust Company and helped design and implement strategic initiatives for major lines of business. Prior to that position, he served as a Human Resources Officer for JPMorgan Chase after selling Excelsia Group, Inc., a midsized executive search and consulting company, he previously co-founded.
Mr. Lambert earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Ball State University and a master’s degree in corporate communications from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. He is a member of SHRM, the Society for Human Resource Management.
GAYLE SAUER
DIRECTOR OF CLIENT EXPERIENCE
Ms. Sauer has over 25 years experience in human resources across a variety of industries. Ms. Sauer’s recent focus has been in the strategic direction of employee benefit programs.
As Director of Client Experience, Ms. Sauer's primary focus is on retaining current client business and building stronger strategic relationships. She is also charged with expanding Errand Solution's services into new business segments and regions while promoting the Errand Solution's brand.
Prior to joining Errand Solutions, Ms. Sauer was the Senior Global Benefits Director at Allergan, Inc., a premier multi-specialty health care company, located in Irvine, California. In this position, Ms. Sauer was responsible for the strategic direction of the Company’s broad range of global benefits programs. Prior to this role, Ms. Sauer was the Director of Compensation, Benefits and HRIS for Monster Worldwide, the parent company of Monster, the leading on-line careers website, based in Maynard, Massachusetts. Ms. Sauer has also held various benefits management positions within the financial services sector in the New England area.
Ms. Sauer holds an M.B.A. from Simmons College School of Management in Boston, Massachusetts.
EUNICE O'LOUGHLIN
DIRECTOR OF CLIENT EXPERIENCE
Ms. O’Loughlin has over thirty-five years of healthcare administration, marketing and community relations experience. As Director of Client Experience, Ms. O’Loughlin is responsible for enhancing the Errand Solutions’ customer experience by working closely with its clients to broaden program applications to drive positive outcomes in the areas of employee and patient satisfaction, patient throughput, and community relations.
Prior to joining Errand Solutions, Ms. O’Loughlin was Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Beaumont Hospitals and the St. John Health System, two of the most respected healthcare systems in the Midwest, both of which are members of Ascension Health, the largest Catholic, non-profit health system in the U.S.. In this position, she was responsible for system wide brand management, marketing, public relations and community relations.
Ms. O’Loughlin earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Detroit Mercy and a master’s in Health Services Administration from Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan. She has served on board of numerous community organizations including the United Way, the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross and Inforum (formerly Women’s Economic Club). Ms. O’Loughlin was also a founding member of Ascension Health’s National Communication Advisory Council.
SUE CARTAGENA CPA
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Ms. Cartagena has been overseeing the financial activities of Errand Solutions since 2002. As Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Cartagena focuses primarily on financial planning, operational cost savings, and stream-lining activities.
Prior to joining Errand Solutions, Ms. Cartagena worked with CSC-Index as a management consultant, restructuring and re-engineering utility companies to become more competitive. In the earlier years of her career, Ms. Cartagena worked with Amoco Chemicals (now BP) in a variety of accounting and analytical positions in the U.S. and overseas.
Ms. Cartagena holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago and is a Certified Public Accountant.
SANDRA COLLINS CPA
CONTROLLER
Ms. Collins has a wealth of experience in corporate financial management. As Errand Solutions’ controller, Ms. Collins is responsible for budget preparation, cash management, financial projections and analysis, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
Before joining Errand Solutions, Ms. Collins served as the Chief Financial Officer of Reggio’s Pizza Inc., and has served within a variety of accounting and analytical positions.
Ms. Collins earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Rust College in Holly Springs, Mississippi. She is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and is an advocate for the education and enhancement of our future accountants.
